Alameda, CA (July 2016):  Simco-Ion Technology Group is pleased to announce that Carl Newberg has joined our team as Senior Applications Engineer and will be working directly with the former, Simco-Ion, Technology Group’s Manager of Technical Services throughout this transition.  

Prior to joining Simco-Ion, Carl Newberg was the President of MicroStat Laboratories/River’s Edge Technical Service.  He has a BS Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, an MS Degree in Materials Science, and a Professional Engineer’s License (Met. Eng.). He is also an iNARTE Certified ESD Engineer, and is one of the first to test and receive certification from the ESD Association (ESDA) as a Certified ESD Program Manager. Carl Newberg has been an active member of the ESD Association since 1995, and has overseen committees, conducted ESDA Certification training classes, and is an expert in the field of ESD and ESA -- with extensive backgrounds in S20.20 ESD disciplines and ESA related contamination control.
